Dear members of the CJC community,

I would like to announce that Bro Paul Rogers will be stepping down as Principal of CJC at the end of 2009 after eight very successful years. Under his very able leadership, CJC has produced sterling results and is once again a sought-after Junior College. On behalf of the CJC community, I would like to thank Bro Paul for his unstinting efforts in spending some of his best years with us. I am sure he will bring his drive and innovative leadership style to his next assignment in Melbourne.

I would also like to announce that Mrs Christine Anne Kong will be joining us as the new Principal. After an extensive search, the board is delighted that Christine has accepted the challenge of leading CJC. With 29 years of experience behind her, where she is currently a Superintendent of schools and previously the Principal of St Theresa’s Convent, the board is confident that Christine will bring CJC to the next level of success. She has achieved many firsts in her career and at CJC, she will be the first lay Principal.

Bro Paul has also agreed to stay on a little longer to ensure a smooth transition.

Please join me in wishing Bro Paul God’s blessings in Australia and welcoming Christine to our family.
